It is divided into DC and AC servo motors. Its main feature is that when the signal voltage is zero, there is no rotation phenomenon, and the speed decreases uniformly with the increase of torque. The servo is used for closed loop. That is, it transmits signals to the system at any time and at the same time corrects its operation with the signals given by the system. The servo can also be controlled by a microcontroller.
