Standard Performance Tests for SATA Connectors

Insulation resistance: Tested with 500V DC between neighboring contacts or ground wires after insertion of the male connector.
Withstand voltage: 50Hz 1000V, AC (RMS), leakage current 1mA voltage applied between neighboring contacts or between ground wires, no breakdown and flying arc phenomenon.
Pin fixing force: Fixed connector and / or dynamometer, in the direction of the axis of the connection road, apply the specified thrust for testing, the speed is not large dry apply the specified.

Solderability: The test specimen to be soldered parts immersed in the soldering furnace, (tin furnace temperature 235 ± 5 ℃); 2 ± 0.5 seconds.
Resistance to soldering heat: Immerse the test specimen to be soldered into the soldering furnace, (temperature of the furnace 260±5℃); 5±1 seconds and then recover under normal conditions for 1 hour.
