1, stamping
　　The manufacturing process of MOLEX connectors usually starts with stamping pins. Through a large high-speed press, electronic connectors (pins) are stamped from thin metal strips. One end of the large volume metal strip is fed into the front end of the punching machine, and the other end is wound onto the tape reel through the hydraulic table of the punching machine. The metal strip is pulled out of the take-up reel and pushed out in order to punch out the finished product.
　　2, Plating
　　After the MOLEX connector pins are punched, they should be sent to the plating section. At this stage, the electronic contact surface of the connector will be plated with various metal coatings. Similar to the stamping stage of a class of problems, such as pin twisting, crumbling or deformation, also occurs in the process of punching pins into the plating equipment.
　　3, injection molding
　　The plastic shell of the electronic connector is made in the injection molding stage. The usual method is to inject the molten plastic into the metal film, and then quickly cooled. When the molten plastic does not completely fill the film, so-called "leakage" occurs. This is a typical defect that needs to be detected during the injection molding stage.
　　4. Assembly
　　The final stage of electronic connector manufacturing is the assembly of the finished product. There are two ways to insert the plated pins into the cartridge holder: separate pairs or combined pairs. Separate inserts mean that each pin is inserted; each time an insert is inserted, the pins are inserted into the box at the same time. Regardless of the type of insert, the manufacturer requires that all pins be tested for missing pins and correctly positioned at the assembly stage; another type of routine inspection task involves the measurement of the spacing on the mating surfaces of the connector.
